Pools boss delivers Behan praise.

Hartlepool boss Mick Wadsworth praised striker Denis Behan after his goal in the 4-0 win against Northampton Town in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.Behan opened his account for the season in his third substitute appearance and Wadsworth hailed his patience.

"I'm pleased because he's had a tough pre-season," Wadsworth told BBC Tees.

"His agent rang last week about putting him out on loan and I said 'No I need him to stay and fight'. It was a good finish and he did some good things."
