Marvin Lee Aday, or Meat Loaf as he is more commonly known, is an American actor and musician. The eccentric, Texas-born starís love for Hartlepool United was first reported a few years ago, when his decision to look for a house in the area, was said to be a result of his Ďobsessioní with the club.

Labour Peer and Trade Unionist, Lord Tom Burlison, is the honorary president for life at Hartlepool United.


Janick Gers


Janick Gers is a mad-cap Iron Maiden guitarist, born in Hartlepool to a Polish father and English mother. Was a keen sportsman in his youth and has followed Pools since his childhood.

Peter Mandelson

The European Commissioner and former cabinet minister, has been a long-time ally of Tony Blair. The twice-disgraced politician was raised is Hartlepool Unitedís club president.
